Face to Face: Students and the instructor meet in person at a regular scheduled time and place.

Synchronous Online: Instruction is conducted online in real time at a predetermine time.

Asynchronous Online: Instruction is conducted online with students completing coursework on their own time within timelines set by the instructor.

Hyflex: A Hyflex (hybrid flexible) course enables students the flexibility to attend in some combination of face to face, synchronous online, and asynchronous online.

• Hyflex – Face to Face: Students primarily attend face to face but are given the option to attend asynchronous online or synchronous online.
• Hyflex – Online: Students primarily attend asynchronous online or synchronous online but are given the option to attend face to face.
