About Dr. Hatton

Dr. Hatton has served since 1992 as faculty and in various administrative roles that have included department chair, institutional accreditation liaison, associate vice president for academic affairs, director of graduate studies and dean.

Areas of Specialization:

Higher education leadership, media literacy education, social cognition and interpersonal interactions.

Dr. Hatton teaches ED 294: Media Literacy Education.

Research Interests:

Media literacy education, specifically the impact of the uses of technology on interpersonal dynamics and learning.
