Office of Professional Learning
The Office of Professional Learning in the Center for Education Support is your one-stop for CEUs, SEMIs, or OSLs. We aim to provide relevant and necessary professional and continuing education for license renewal with the Mississippi Department of Education and for other programs. We offer online coursework or can assist you with offering CEUs for your event or yearly district professional development training.
Whether it’s time to renew your license, improve your teaching, or advance your learning, our Office of Professional Learning is here to help.
History
In 2004, the Center for Creative Learning began in the Office of Outreach and Innovation at Mississippi University for Women. Over time, the CCL became the Professional Learning Academy, offering workshops and training for educators and administrators. Now housed in the Center for Education Support, the Professional Learning Academy will continue that legacy by offering relevant courses to teachers and administrators and facilitating the awarding of CEU certificates for district professional development sessions.
