Rob'Dreka Shaw, LPC, NCC
Rob'Dreka Shaw is a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor who joined the MUW Counseling Center in Fall of 2016. She received her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Mississippi State University. She also received a Master of Arts in Education with a focus on Family and Community Services. Prior to coming to MUW, Rob'Dreka worked in an inpatient setting providing individual, group and family therapy to individuals with behavioral issues and serious mental health needs. Some of her interests are day to day life adjustments, first generation students, multiculatural issues, anger management, anxiety, depression, and relationship difficulties.
Dr. Deb Wells, Ph.D., LPC, LPC/S
Dr. Wells a Licensed Professional Counselor who received her Ph.D. in Supervision and Counselor Education and her Master of Science in Community Counseling from Mississippi State University. Her knowledge of Social Work and Religious Education comes from her undergraduate degree from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Dr. Wells has served in various positions in the counseling profession. She served as a member and chairperson of the Board of Examiners for Licensed Professional Counselors. Dr. Wells has also served on national and state committees. She is very active in the Mississippi Counseling Association. Dr. Wells works with individuals that are making transitions in their lives. She is able to help people deal with their anxieties, depression and other mental health concerns.
Clinical Mental Health Intern Counselor
Natalie Bullock is in her second year of her Master of Science program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Mississippi State University. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology from Louisiana Tech University. Through her experiences in these majors, Natalie has come to better understand individual needs of people as well as the pressures from society. Natalie has worked with clients of geriatric, adult, and college student populations and has worked in various settings. She has experience with leading group and individual therapy. Some of her interests are first generation college students, LGBT related issues, issues related to abuse, life changes and adjustments, anxiety, and depression. Natalie is looking forward to gaining more experience in the university environment through her internship at MUW.
