The College of Business and Professional Studies offers students the opportunity to pursue an exciting and financially rewarding career, with degree programs in accounting, business administration, culinary arts, legal studies, and professional studies. Students take classes on a beautifully landscaped historical campus with 22 of its buildings listed on the National Register of Historical Places. Small classes, personalized advising, and internship opportunities, coupled with day, evening, and online class offerings culminate in individualized learning experiences that work for you.

StudentThe W's College of Business and Professional Studies offers many exciting degree opportunities. Choose from a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Administration (with concentrations in Accounting, General Business, Management, Management Information Systems, Health Care Management, Human Resource Management, or Marketing), a Bachelor of Science in Culinary Arts, or a Bachelor of Science (or Arts) in Legal Studies. In addition, students meeting admissions guidelines and holding an A.A.S. degree may transfer up to 40 hours of career / technical credit into a Bachelor Applied Science in Business Administration degree (with concentrations in General Business, Human Resource Management, Health Care Management, Legal Administration, Marketing, and Management Information Systems).

ACBSP AccreditedOur Bachelor of Business Administration program concentrations in general business, marketing, management, and management information systems are accredited by the Accreditation Council of Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), which ensures that our programs adhere to strict academic standards for excellence. Our Culinary Arts Institute offers one of the few baccalaureate opportunities in the discipline. Our legal studies program is one of only two ABA approved programs in the state of Mississippi.
