Mississippi University for Women was recently granted full reaccreditation by the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM). Originally called simply the Music Hall, or the “Temple of Music” as residents of Columbus dubbed it, Poindexter Music Hall was built in 1905. In 2012, Poindexter Hall was re-opened after renovations.
