Director of Housing & Residence Life

Andrew is a native of Knoxville, TN. He received his bachelor's degree in Business Management from Tennessee Tech University in 2004 and also received his master's degree in Instructional Leadership from Tennessee Tech University in 2011. Before coming to the W, Andrew was a Resident Assistant for one year, Hall Director for 2 years, and an Area Coordinator for 9 years with Tennessee Tech University.

Residence Director – Housing Programs

Tamera Jones is a native of Senatobia, MS. She received her bachelor’s degree in Family Science from the Mississippi University for Women in 2023 and will receive her Master of Education in Student Affairs from the University of West Alabama in December 2024. Tamera has worked in Housing and Residence Life for 4 years. Before coming to the W, she served as the Assistant Director of Student Activities at Rust College.

Residence Director - Staffing

Casey is a native of Summit, MS. He received both his bachelor's and master's degree in history while attending Delta State University from 2020 to 2024. Before coming to the W, he devoted his time working as a Hall Director, Resident Assistant, and Desk Assistant for Housing and Residence Life over the course of four years at DSU. Prior to this, he also achieved an associate's degree in business and marketing management at Southwest Mississippi Community College in 2020.

Admin. Assistant

Misty Jarnagin is a native to Millport, AL. She graduated from South Lamar High School in 2006. Before coming to the Mississippi University of Women she worked in different areas of customer services for the past 18 years, including her most recent role of being the Assistant Manager of Bob Roberts BBQ here in Columbus.

Housing Facilities Manager

Greg Clayton is a native of Corinth, MS, and earned his Bachelor of Arts in English Education from Mississippi University for Women in 2011. Before returning to MUW, Greg worked in Residence Life at The Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science. He is an active member of the MUW Alumni Association and the local Lowndes County Alumni Chapter. Greg enjoys playing games and spending quality time with his wife, April—also a MUW graduate—and their two young children, Nona and Atlas.
