Andrew Moneymaker

Director of Housing & Residence Life

Andrew is a native of Knoxville, TN. He received his bachelor's degree in Business Management from Tennessee Tech University in 2004 and also received his master's degree in Instructional Leadership from Tennessee Tech University in 2011. Before coming to the W, Andrew was a Resident Assistant for one year, Hall Director for 2 years, and an Area Coordinator for 9 years with Tennessee Tech University.

Jake Hutchins

Residence Director – Programming

Jake is a native of Laurel, MS. They received their associate’s degree in General Education at Jones College in 2021 and would later also receive their bachelor’s and master’s degrees both in Social Work at the University of Southern Mississippi in 2024 and 2026. Jake has worked in Housing and Residence Life for 6 years. Before coming to the W, they served as a Resident Assistant, Senior Resident Assistant, and Representative of the Resident Assistant Advisory Board at the University of Southern Mississippi.

Casey Cook

Residence Director - Staffing

Casey is a native of Summit, MS. He received both his bachelor's and master's degree in history while attending Delta State University from 2020 to 2024. Before coming to the W, he devoted his time working as a Hall Director, Resident Assistant, and Desk Assistant for Housing and Residence Life over the course of four years at DSU. Prior to this, he also achieved an associate's degree in business and marketing management at Southwest Mississippi Community College in 2020.

Misty Jarnagin

Admin. Assistant

Misty Jarnagin is a native to Millport, AL. She graduated from South Lamar High School in 2006. Before coming to the Mississippi University of Women she worked in different areas of customer services for the past 18 years, including her most recent role of being the Assistant Manager of Bob Roberts BBQ here in Columbus.

Greg Clayton

Housing Facilities Manager

Greg Clayton is a native of Corinth, MS, and earned his Bachelor of Arts in English Education from Mississippi University for Women in 2011. Before returning to MUW, Greg worked in Residence Life at The Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science. He is an active member of the MUW Alumni Association and the local Lowndes County Alumni Chapter. Greg enjoys playing games and spending quality time with his wife, April—also a MUW graduate—and their two young children, Nona and Atlas.

Victor Gomez

Housing Graduate Assistant

Victor Gomez is a native of Mexico and he later moved to Gulfport, MS. He earned his associate’s degree in General Education with additional coursework in Automotive Technology from Pearl River Community College. He later earned his bachelor’s degree in Spanish with Accounting. He currently serves as a Graduate Assistant at the Mississippi University for Women while also working as a teacher and soccer coach with the Lowndes County School District. He is also currently serving in the United States Army and is a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. Outside of work, he enjoys coaching soccer, exploring new hobbies, and working on motorcycles and cars. He also enjoys spending time with his cat, Goober.
