Honors Program

The Ina E. Gordy Honors College offers both a four-year curriculum and a residential program that allows students to live, as well as learn, together. Honors provides intensive faculty-student interaction that challenges students and offers exceptional opportunities such as honor societies for specific academic programs.

Focused on Affordability

We believe that the cost of a college education should not be a deterrent to your pursuit of earning a college degree. The W has kept tuition among the lowest in the Southeast. We offer that same low tuition to residents of every state, and a range of scholarships, and grants to help you pay for your education.

Transfer Scholarships

Awards are based on completion of the minimum of 24 transferable hours and a 2.75 transferable grade point average. Students with 24 to 47 hours at point of admission have 6 semesters of award eligibility and students with 48 hours or more at point of admission have 4 semesters of award eligibility. To receive an award offer, students must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The priority deadline for awards is July 1. Students admitted after July 1 will be considered for awards if funds are still available.
