Scholarships for Chemistry Majors
There are various chemistry scholarships offered by the Department of Sciences and Mathematics available to current Chemistry majors.
Most of these scholarships are available to all currently-enrolled students, including international students. Amounts awarded are generally in the $500 to $2000 dollar range.
The scholarships are awarded at the discretion of the departmental faculty and are awarded on the basis of BOTH financial need and academic merit.
Everyone who is a current chemistry major and will be returning in the next semester is encouraged to apply.
2025-2026 Chemistry Scholarships
To apply, please complete the scholarship application in the Scholarship Portal. Applications are due during the spring semester of each academic year, with awards being made for the following academic year.
In Spring 2026, the deadline for application for the 2026-27 Scholarships is Sun 17 May.
Students who are awarded scholarships will be notified by the Financial Aid office by email and in Banner.
You only need to apply once and you will be considered for all departmental scholarships.
