The W and Professional Degree Programs

Pre-Professional Advising Within the Department of Sciences and Mathematics

Students planning to continue on to professional schools after their education at MUW are well served toward this goal during their time at MUW.

Students interested in attending Medical School, Dental School, Pharmacy School, and Veterinary School typically major in Biology or Chemistry and are assigned academic advisors in the Department of Sciences and Mathematics.

Medical schools, Pharmacy Schools, Dental Schools, and Veterinary Schools all have very specific academic and extracurricular requirements of their applicants. Students interested in any of these programs are strongly encouraged to consult with their academic advisor and to follow as closely as possible the sequence of courses and activities recommended by the MUW Pre-professional School Advising Program.
