Evonté Shepherd Portraits

We are pleased to present an exhibition of the works of Evonté Shepherd as part of The W’s celebration of Black History Month. Shepherd is a talented painter who specializes in portraiture, and his works will be on display from Feb. 6 through March 17 in The W Galleries and Summer Hall.

About The W

Located in historic Columbus, Mississippi, The W was founded in 1884 as the first state-supported college for women in the United States. Today, the university is home to 3,453 students in more than 70 majors and concentrations and has educated men for 40 years.
