Undergraduate Research Internship Awards

Provides undergraduate research scholarships for qualified students to work in on faculty-led lab projects or lab-associated activities. Candidates must have arranged for a faculty member to act as their prospective mentor before submitting their application. The candidates will be selected by a committee composed of sciences/mathematics faculty from qualified MUW sciences/mathematics majors to enable successful candidates to pursue research in their fields. U.S. Citizenship required. Undergraduate Preservice Teacher Awards

Provides undergraduate teaching scholarships to students that will be doing a preservice teaching internship as part of their degree requirements in STEM classes at a K-12 school. The candidates will be selected by a committee composed of sciences/mathematics faculty, from qualified MUW senior sciences/mathematics majors to support them during their penultimate, full-time teaching internship semester. U.S. Citizenship required. Faculty Research Infrastructure Award

Provides funds for faculty, selected by a committee composed of sciences/mathematics faculty, to pay for research supplies associated with mentoring specific undergraduate researchers. Candidates must specifiy which undergraduate students will be worlking and funds must be used to fund those stduents' activities. U.S. Citizenship required. Click on the link below. Deadline for submitted applications is Mon 16 Sept 2019.
