Finding the Missing: The Mississippi Repository for Missing and Unidentified Persons
In this first Honors Forum event of the 2026-2027 season, Dr. Jesse Goliath, Assistant Professor in the Department of Anthropology and Middle Eastern Cultures at Mississippi State University, will share his work as the Founding Director of the Mississippi Repository for Missing and Unidentified Persons. Dr. Goliath has done extensive forensic casework for city, state, and federal agencies and serves as the State Forensic Anthropologist for Mississippi. His research examines the social determinants of missingness using community-centered approaches to forensic investigation.
