Certificate in Child Advocacy Studies Training
The CAST program is a four-course professional certificate designed for individuals working in or preparing to enter the child welfare field. Open to both degree-seeking students and non-degree-seeking participants, the program provides specialized training in identifying, assessing, managing, and responding to cases of child abuse and neglect. Developed by the National Child Protection Training Center, CAST prepares students to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and equips them with current knowledge, practical skills, and resources to promote child safety and well-being.
