Ethan Black is a visiting assistant professor of mathematics. He earned his BS and MS in Mathematics from Mississippi State University.

Dr. Brian Burnes is an assistant professor of biology education. He earned his BS in Applied Biology from Georgia Institute of Technology and his Ph.D. in Applied Biology with 18+ hours in chemistry from Georgia Tech.

Kaitlyn Harmon

Kaitlyn Harmon is an instructor in the ASN program. She earned her AS in Nursing and Applied Science from Itawamba Community College, her BS in Nursing from Delta State University and her MS in Nursing Education from Chamberlain University.

Bentrice Heard

Bentrice Heard is an instructor in the BSN program. She earned her AS and BS in Nursing from The W. She also recently finished the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program at Walden University.

Margaret Kimbrough is an instructor in the BSN program. She earned her Bachelor of Applied Technology from Mississippi State University, her BS in Nursing from The W and her MS in Nursing Education from the University of North Alabama.

Stephen Meek

Stephen Meek is an assistant professor of Graphic Design. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communication Design from the University of Kansas and his MFA in Illustration from Academy of Art University. He also completed 36 credits in the Master of Arts in Web Design & New Media.

Richard Morgan is a Public Health instructor / internship coordinator. He earned his Bachelor of Biblical Studies from Andersonville Theological Seminary and his Bachelor and Master of Public Health Education from The W.

Anita Pintado is an access services librarian. She earned her Associates in Occupational Studies from The Culinary Institute of America, her Bachelor of Arts in History from Barry University and her MS in Library and Information Science, Archives/Records Management Concentration from The Catholic University of America.

Stephanie Salvaterra is an archives and special collections librarian. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Social Welfare and Justice from Marquette University and her Master of Archival Studies from the University of British Columbia.

Bronwyn Teague is a visiting assistant professor of Theatre. Teague earned a BA degree in Theatre from The W and MFA in Theatre Design and Technology with an emphasis on Lighting Design from the University of Southern Mississippi.

Dr. Eljenette West is an assistant professor in the BSN program. She earned her BS in Nursing from Charleston Southern University and her MS in Nursing and DNP in Nursing from Samford University.

Iheoma Nwachukwu

Dr. Iheoma Nwachukwu is an assistant professor of English / Creative Writing Fiction. He earned his BS in Biochemistry from the University of Calabar, his MFA from the Michener Center for Writers at the University of Texas at Austin and his Doctor of Philosophy, Creative Writing from Florida State University.
