Mississippi University for Women will welcome juniors, seniors and transfer students for The PrevieW, Friday and Saturday, March 20-21.

The goal of the event is to offer these students a chance to experience what life at The W is like for themselves, as well as meet many of the faculty and students they would encounter if they were to choose The W.

The event will span two days, with the first day featuring a welcome reception on Friday evening in the Culinary Arts building on The W’s campus. Check-in begins at 6 p.m., with the reception beginning at 6:30 p.m. The students will have the chance to meet with academic deans, as well as current W students. Refreshments will be provided. A keynote address will close out the events on Friday.

The main event is scheduled for Saturday, and will begin in Turner Hall with check-in at 9:30 a.m. and the event itself beginning at 10 a.m. Throughout the day, the students will participate in numerous activities including exploring the academic programs offered at The W and meeting the faculty of the programs; learning about The W’s admission processes, campus, history and traditions; learning about student life on The W’s campus; and attending a Q&A with current W students.
