Mississippi University for Women will honor its seniors during the annual 100th Night celebration, Wednesday, Jan. 29 at 6 p.m. in Pope Dining Room.

As the name implies, the celebration marks 100 days until spring graduation, and the ceremony honors those graduating seniors, as well as seniors who will be graduating the following July or December.

“The 100th Night celebration is a time for seniors to reflect on their time at The W. It’s a reminder for them to soak in their last 100 days here, to really enjoy the time they have left as a student at The W and to assure them that while their time here may be coming to a close, that they are always a part of The W family and the Long Blue Line,” said Asia Duren, director of Student Life at The W.

Hosted by the Student Programming Board (SPB), the ceremony will feature a W alum speaking about the impact The W has had on them and what it truly means to be a W grad. There is also an explanation of what the ceremony stands for, then student organizations are given the floor to honor the seniors from their groups.

The event closes with a singing of “Friends.”
