The Golden Triangle College Fair hosted by Mississippi University for Women will allow high school seniors to connect with higher education and professional opportunities Nov. 1 and 2 from 9 a.m. to noon in the Pohl Gym.

“The W is excited to be hosting this fantastic event. The Golden Triangle College Fair will offer a wealth of information and resources to help students take the next steps toward their higher education and career goals,” said Alexis Montgomery, admissions and recruiting coordinator at The W

The Golden Triangle College Fair will feature representatives from 20 universities and community colleges who will be on hand to provide information about programs, admissions and scholarships.

Students from Lowndes County, Oktibbeha County, Noxubee County and Kempker County Schools, encompassing a total of 13 area high schools and approximately 840 high school seniors attending, will visit The W’s campus throughout the two-day event. Homeschool students also are invited to this exciting event.

Montgomery said, “We hope to spark the interest of these high school seniors and let them experience firsthand the many opportunities available to them. We want to provide students in the Golden Triangle with an event to aid their college and career searches while showcasing all The W offers. We cannot wait for all the students to be on our campus.”

While space is limited, local businesses are invited to participate and engage with area students.
