Nestled above the historic Tombigbee River Channel, Plymouth Bluff Environmental Center provides individuals, families and organizations the perfect backdrop  for retreats, workshops, conferences and gatherings.

“Plymouth Bluff is a unique space where families and businesses can come and get away from their busy lives or busy work environments,” said Chandler Lester, director of the Plymouth Bluff Environmental Center. “I am very thankful The W has invested back into Plymouth Bluff.”

The center offers nature enthusiasts approximately five miles of nature trails that adventure through 190 acres to the top of a bluff, providing an excellent view of the old Tombigbee River channel. While staying at Plymouth Bluff, guests can enjoy a tennis court, pavilion, amphitheater and lake.

Among the center’s features are an 11,700-square-foot conference building with versatile lecture rooms, an auditorium and a museum showcasing cultural and natural history. Additionally, guests can enjoy comfortable accommodations in 20 guest rooms, each equipped with modern amenities.

Under Lester’s guidance, the Plymouth Bluff Environmental Center has undergone a remarkable transformation, revitalized its facilities and enhanced the guest experience. The most recent enhancements showcase the dining hall equipped with new Chivari chairs, renovated guest rooms featuring modern conveniences such as Wi-Fi and smart televisions and upgraded outdoor facilities, including a wrap-around deck and an outdoor pavilion.
