Magnolia Chain Ceremony 2025
The Magnolia Chain Ceremony involves graduating seniors carrying a long chain of magnolia leaves and blossoms, singing a special song, and then rushing to grab a magnolia flower, believing that those who do will have good fortune. The ceremony has been part of MUW commencement since at least 1890.
