Division of Education & Outreach

Education is so much more than classroom instruction. The Division of Education and Outreach is specifically organized to leverage the combined resources of a comprehensive unit with a focus on Education from preschool to post-graduate options. As such, the Division functions as a hub for all things related to Education. Comprised of the Education undergraduate and graduate academic programs, the Office of Outreach & Innovation, the Child & Parent Development Center, Governor’s School, Summer Discovery, and dual-enrollment options, we pride ourselves on providing resources, guidance, and encouragement for our students at every stage of life.

Passport to Wellness

Be A Healthier You

Passport to Wellness addresses the problem of unhealthy lifestyle choices relating to diet and physical activity. The program operates within Columbus/Lowndes County to serve the residents of our community. We host a series of educational and community events emphasizing health and wellness will take place throughout the year. Passport to Wellness is made possible through a grant from Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi Foundation
