Focused on Affordability

We believe that the cost of a college education should not be a deterrent to your pursuit of earning a college degree. The W has kept tuition among the lowest in the Southeast. We offer that same low tuition to residents of every state, and a range of scholarships, and grants to help you pay for your education.

Columbus: Our Home

The W has a beautiful 144 acre (0.58 km2) campus in historic downtown Columbus, Mississippi, a city of approximately 26,000. The city offers opportunities for employment, affordable housing, and cultural events. The university is about a 3-hour drive from the major cities of Birmingham, Alabama and Memphis, Tennessee, providing students with even more opportunities to shop, visit museums, and see the sights.
