Respondus LockDown Browser

Respondus LockDown Browser® is a custom browser that locks down the testing environment within Canvas. When students use Respondus LockDown Browser they are unable to print, copy, go to another URL, or access other applications. When an assessment is started, students are locked into it until they submit it for grading. Available for Windows, Mac and iOS.

SmarterProctoring® is a database of virtual proctoring solutions, testing centers, and individuals that are available to proctor exams. Through LMS integration, Institutions and Instructors are able to identify to their students what proctoring solutions are acceptable for their exams. Respondus 4.0 is a powerful tool for creating and managing exams that can be printed to paper or published directly to Canvas. Exams can be created offline using a familiar Windows environment, or moved from one LMS to another. YouTube is a video-sharing web site that allows registered users to upload and share video clips. This allows the instructor or student access to a vast collection of resources that can greatly influence the class inside and outside of the classroom. Instructors can use existing videos for a course or upload videos created from a PC, Mac, or handheld device.
