Peer Mentoring

Peer Mentors

Peer mentors are a free resource for all students at the W. There are mentors for multiple subject areas available for live mentoring sessions or via zoom upon request. To get started, find the subject you wish to set up a mentoring session for, check the mentor's hours of availability and drop in to their scheduled library hours in the lobby of the Fant Memorial Library.

Audrey Mitchell – Intermediate Math / College Algebra

Hi, My name is Audrey Mitchell. I am a Senior Secondary Mathematics Education Major from Amory, Mississippi. In my free time I enjoy reading, baking, and spending time with my friends and family. I am so happy to be a peer mentor this semester because I have always loved helping others achieve their goals.

Aalaya Campbell – Financial Wellness

Hey y’all, my name is Laya Campbell. I am from Shreveport, LA but grew up in Central Texas. I am a senior majoring in Biology. I love reading, yoga, golfing and playing video and board games with family. I’m looking forward to demystifying money concepts with you, as a financial wellness peer mentor this semester!

My name is Nykeria Pratt and I am so excited to be a peer mentor this year. I am a 2nd year chemistry major from Houston, MS. I am a peer mentor for Chemistry and all Learning Skills classes .
