Members of Kappa Kappa Iota

Mississippi Professional Educators (MPE)

  • Statewide network of educators committed to advancing the teaching profession.
  • Offers professional development, scholarships, and leadership opportunities.
  • Open to all full-time education majors.

Mississippi Early Childhood Association (MsECA)

  • Connects students with early childhood professionals across Mississippi.
  • Provides resources, conferences, and advocacy focused on young children and families.
  • Open to education majors with an interest in early learning.

Kappa Kappa Iota (KKI)

  • Campus Kappa chapter connects students with current and retired educators statewide.
  • Mentors support members during the critical induction years of teaching.
  • Scholarships are available at campus, state, and national levels after one year of membership and continue into graduate study.

Meeting Schedule
All student organizations meet jointly at 3:30 p.m. on the first Wednesday of each month (September–November and February–April) in the EDHS building.


Together, MPE, MsECA, and KKI provide opportunities for professional growth, networking, mentorship, scholarships, and advocacy.
