Eudora Welty Prize Winner
Sarah Gilbreath Ford serves as Professor of English at Baylor University with a focus on Southern Literature, African American Literature, Literature and Law, American Gothic, and Eudora Welty. She is co-editor of The Eudora Welty Review and has frequently published scholarship on Eudora Welty’s fiction, including co-editing a special issue of Women’s Studies on “Eudora Welty and Feminism,” which appears this fall as the edited collection Eudora Welty and Stealth Feminism. Her previous books include Haunted Property: Slavery and the Gothic and Tracing Southern Storytelling in Black and White.
