Josh Russell is Professor of English at Georgia State University, where he directs the creative writing program. His novels include Yellow Jack, My Bright Midnight, and A True History of the Captivation, Transport to Strange Lands, & Deliverance of Hannah Guttentag. King of the Animals is his most recent collection of short fiction. He has also published the chapbooks Suburban Folktales, Pretend You’ll Do it Again, and Winter on Fifth Avenue.
