Casey Kayser is the winner of this year’s Eudora Welty Prize from Mississippi University for Women and the University Press of Mississippi for her study: Marginalized: Southern Woemn Playwrights Confront Race, Region, and Gender. Kayser is Assisstant Professor of English at the University of Arkansas and director of their Medical Humanities program.
