Christin Marie Tayloris the 2019 Eudora Welty Prize winner for Labor Pains: New Deal Fictions of Race, Work, and Sex in the South. She is Assistant Professor of English at Shenandoah University. Her scholarship has appeared in Southern Quarterly, The Encyclopedia of Hip Hop Literature, and Teaching the Works of Eudora Welty: Twenty-First-Century Approaches, among others.
