Ashley M. Jones is the author of two collections of poetry, dark // thingand Magic City Gospel. She is a native of Birmingham, Alabama, where she is executive director of the Magic City Poetry Festival and teaches at the Alabama School for the Arts. She is the recipient of a Rona Jaffe Foundation Writers Award and the Lena-Miles Wever Todd Prize for Poetry from Pleiades Press.
