T. K. Lee will read from his debut collection of poetry, To Square a Circle, which will be released at the symposium, October 18Lee teaches drama and poetry in The W’s low-residency MFA program in creative writing as well as undergraduate playwriting, creative writing, and literature. He has long been active in the Mississippi Theatre Association, and as a playwright, director, and actor for Starkville Community Theatre. In addition to his poetry and a manuscript of short fiction, Lee’s short plays include Paper Thin, On How to Accommodate Marlo’s Frying Pan, and Loose Hog.

  1. Lee’s one-act play Paper Thin won best play at SETC where Lee also won Oustanding New Work as playwright.
  2. He acted in the internet serial Good Commitment.
  3. In addition to acting in several plays, Lee has performed cabaret.
