Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) - RN to BSN Advanced Placement Part-Time Option

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing RN to BSN program is an online option designed for the working nurse. The part-time program can be completed in five semesters. Clinical time is built into the course.

Prerequisite Courses

The RN-to-BSN program requires 62 credit hours of prerequisite courses. Students may apply for admission with at least 50 prerequisite hours completed.

On successful completion of NU 360, NU 361, NU 362, and NU 363 the student is given validation credit for 24 hours of junior level coursework as follows:

  • NU 330 - Clinical Practicum for NU 329
  • NU 351 - Clinical Practicum for NU 350 and NU 352
  • NU 352 - Nursing Therapeutic Interventions: Concepts of Care Concerning Women and Children: Developing Families
