Computer & Printer

Students must either purchase a computer that has word processing ability and email capability or have access to these functions. Students are encouraged to purchase Microsoft Word and PowerPoint Presentations for assignments. All current students at The W have access to Microsoft 365 at no additional cost through WConnect.

Professional Liability Insurance

All RN to BSN students are required to carry individual malpractice insurance with minimum coverage limits of $1,000,000 per incident and $6,000,000 aggregate. Proof of coverage must be submitted prior to the clinical course requirement in August. Coverage is only required for one year, from August 1 through July 31, which will cover all three clinical courses in the RN to BSN program. Please do not purchase your policy prior to this time, as documentation will not be requested until August. If you already have an active policy that meets the minimum coverage requirements, you will not need to purchase additional insurance. Simply provide documentation of your current, individual coverage.
