Assistant Teacher Apprenticeship
Students already enrolled in the teacher education program may be eligible for immediate employment opportunities through an apprenticeship model. This option allows eligible students to begin gaining paid classroom experience while continuing coursework toward degree completion. Eligibility depends on:
- GPA requirements
- ACT score requirements
- Program admission status
- District employment needs
- Ability to meet apprenticeship expectations while completing coursework
Through this option, students can gain valuable classroom experience, build professional skills, and move toward teacher licensure with support from the School of Education and school district partners.
