Elementary + Middle & High School Options
Elementary Education majors at The W have the opportunity to broaden their teaching credentials by adding supplemental endorsements in middle school, high school, or K–12 subject areas.
While completing coursework for the Elementary Education (K–6) degree, students may also complete the requirements for additional subject-area endorsements. Upon graduation and licensure, candidates may be eligible to teach both elementary grades and their selected endorsement area(s), expanding their career opportunities across multiple grade levels.
How It Works
- Students major in Elementary Education (K–6)
- Additional coursework is completed in a selected endorsement subject area(s)
- All requirements for the additional endorsement(s) are fulfilled during the undergraduate program
- Upon licensure, candidates will be endorsed in:
- Elementary Education (K–6)
- AND selected endorsement area(s) (7–12/K–12), based on the coursework completed
