About Shondolyn
Shondolyn Richardson serves as an Educational Project Coordinator in the Center for Education Support (CES) at Mississippi University for Women. She plans and coordinates educational events, programs, and professional learning opportunities that support educators, school districts, and community partners.
Shondolyn also oversees the Professional Learning Academy, which offers online courses through which teachers and administrators can earn Mississippi educator licensure credits, including Continuing Education Units (CEUs), School Executive Management Institute (SEMI) credits, and Orientation for School Leaders (OSL) credits. In addition to managing these courses, she processes licensure credits for school districts and organizations offering professional development workshops and events.
Before joining CES, Shondolyn spent 21 years as an elementary school teacher. Her extensive classroom experience and specialization in reading literacy inform her work supporting educators throughout Mississippi.
