A Program Built for Where You Already Are
The School of Education offers flexible pathways for students who are already working in schools or preparing to enter the classroom while completing their degree. These options are designed to help students move forward without choosing between work, school, and career advancement.
Are you already an Assistant Teacher?
You can continue working while completing coursework toward teacher licensure. Students in this group may receive support with:
- Reviewing previous college coursework for credits you already have
- Support from a dedicated advisor
- Guidance through admission, transfer, and degree completion requirements
- Connecting current classroom experience to teacher preparation
- Identifying education-specific scholarship opportunities
Are you an Assistant Teacher transferring from Community College?
For Assistant Teachers who are transferring from a community college, the School of Education provides additional transfer support to help protect the coursework already completed and create a clear transition into the teacher education program. Transfer support may include:
- Transfer-friendly advising
- Community college Anchor Points and transition support
- Review of completed coursework
- Clear next steps toward admission and degree completion
- Continued employment while progressing toward licensure
