Kendra Allen returns to the symposium with her debut collection of poetry, The Collection Plate. Originally from Dallas, Texas, she earned her MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Alabama and is the recipient of the Iowa Prize for her creative nonfiction collection, When You Learn the Alphabet.
