Samyak Shertok is originally from Nepal and now teaches poetry at Mississippi State University. His debut poetry collection, No Rhododentdron, was awarded AWP’s Donald Hall Prize for Poetry, and individual poems have appeared in Poetry, Kenyon Review, Iowa Rview, Gettysburg Review, and other magazines, and he has poems included in the anthologies Best New Poets 2023, Best New Poets 021, Attached to the Living World: A New Ecopoetry Anthology, and Kavya: Representative Nepali Poetry in English.
