Olivia Clare Friedman returns to the symposium with her second poetry collection An Arm Fixed to a Wing. Her previous publications include the poetry collection The 26 Hour Day, the novel, Here Lies, and the story collection, Disasters in the First World. Individual poems and stories have appeared in anthologies and magazines such as The Pushcart Prize 2022 Anthology, Best Small Fictions 2020, The O. Henry Prize Stories 2014, Georgia Review Southern Humanities Review, The Yale Review, and many others. Friedman serves as the Director of Creative Writing at the University of Southern Mississippi.
