Internships

The Center for Women’s Research & Public Policy offers internships in the fall, spring, and summer terms. Undergraduate and graduate students enrolled at Mississippi University for Women are eligible to apply, and applications are accepted on a rolling basis.

Interns work on a variety of tasks, from grant-writing and public relations work to event planning and office administration. Fall and spring semester internships require a minimum of 120 hours of work over the course of the semester and a maximum of twenty hours of work per week. They end the week before final exams each semester, as indicated on the Registrar’s Academic Calendar. Summer internships are intensive and revolve around the NEW Leadership Mississippi Summer Institute; they require attendance at all sessions of the summer institute and typically end by July 1.
