The Faculty Undergraduate Research Mentor (FURM) Institute, co-sponsored by the OUR and the KCTL, is a professional development opportunity for faculty to enhance their undergraduate research mentoring toolkit. Participants receive a $500 stipend and access to Teaching and Learning funds to develop course materials.

2024 Schedule and Resources
The 2024 FURM Institute is May 13-16. Follow-up meetings will be scheduled for Fall 2024 and Spring 2025, and will be open to the campus community.
Pedagogical Resources
Faculty will develop pedagogical resources as part of the FURM Institute, and during the semester they implement these resources, all materials will be posted to the OUR Assignment Repository.
