Step 2: Advisement and Admission to the University

Advising

For academic advisement information, please call
(662) 329-7311.

Prospective students who plan to take non-nursing courses at other institutions should contact the program chair regarding transfer of credit prior to taking the courses. The Human Anatomy & Physiology and Microbiology courses must include labs. A minimum grade of "C" must be earned in all required courses for the ASN curriculum. Two failures (less than "C") in a required science course will disqualify a student from admission into the ASN Program.

Admission to the University

Students must apply for admission into the University. Students must meet admission requirements to the University before an offer of acceptance to the ASN program is made. This is done by completing an MUW Admission Form, submitting a completed Immunization Form and Health Examination Form and having all transcripts mailed to the Office of Admissions.
