Erik Studdard earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with an emphasis in photography from Mississippi University for Women in 2004. Before joining The W as a Graphic Artist, he worked for a private air travel company where his design and photography appeared in national marketing campaigns.

Erik is married to Katie Studdard, and they have a daughter, Elyse, who is growing up way too fast. For fun, Erik enjoys toy photography and has appeared on several podcasts to discuss Batman, lighting, and other aspects of photography.
