Eve has left the garden and should be approached with caution.

Artist Statement

As an artist, I am interested in how language manifests in images along with the dialogue of whispers, echoes and contradictions it creates.

There is an expansiveness to how images have power to change the tone and rhythm of a poem.

Ultimately, I look for inflection points where vulnerability is revealed. I am hopeful that what might be uncomfortable can still be viewed with empathy. In my work I frequently return to themes of devotion, water and breath which is to say birth—the arrival of a shared experience, the movement from isolation to connection.
