Mental Health First Aid Workshop

Mental Health First Aid teaches participants to recognize signs and symptoms and initiate help to those that may be experiencing a mental health or substance use challenge or in a crisis. In 2021 DMH received a grant from SAMSHA to provide Mental Health First Aid to participants across our state to decrease stigma and increase awareness. A representative, Labethani May (Labethani.May@dmh.ms.gov) from the Mississippi State Department of Mental Health, will be presenting this two-day workshop.
