Trailblazing Women commemorates important women in the history of our university. At this time, we will feature the founders of the Industrial Institute and College (our original name): Sallie Eola Reneau, Annie Coleman Peyton, and Olivia Valentine Hastings, as well as early instructors Mary J. S. Callaway, Pauline Van De Graaf Orr, and Emma Ody Pohl.
