Three Women Artists: Betty Dice, Mary Evelyn Stringer, Eugenia Summer

Betty Dice, Mary Evelyn Stringer, and Eugenia Summer are among the most beloved art professors to teach art at this university. All three began employment here in the 1940s; Dice in 1945, Stringer in 1947, and Summer in 1949. All three also had very long careers here as well. Dice retired in 1982, Summer in 1985, and Stringer in 1991.
