Colorful, scribbled drawings displayed on the family refrigerator or similar surface are a common sight in homes with small children. A Child’s View displays children’s art in our exhibition to view the artwork in a different light. Drawings like these are often seen as a fun pastime for the child artist, but as Georgia Love Graham, director of the university’s Child and Parent Development Center (CPDC), says these creative activities are crucial in developing a child’s pre-writing skills and bolstering their confidence.
